Suda51, Swery65's Hotel Barcelona Game Launches in September
Game launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam
On Thursday, Swery65 posted on his X account that he and Suda51 are planning to launch their Hotel Barcelona game in September 2025. He also mentioned that they will be showcasing a demo of the game at BitSummit 13 in Kyoto from July 18th through July 20th.
The game will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam .
In this video game, you explore an American summer camp where you encounter serial killers repeatedly. Its visual style combines anime elements with aesthetics from 80s and 90s horror and slasher films.
CULT Games is publishing the game.
In August 2021, Grasshopper Manufacture, the studio led by Suda51, launched No More Heroes III on Nintendo Switch. Later in October 2022, the game became available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC via Steam.
Swery65 was one of the founders of Access Games and started out directing games with Spy Fiction. He later worked on Deadly Premonition, Lord of Arcana, Lord of Apocalypse, and D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die. After leaving Access Games in 2016, Swery65 launched White Owls, a game development company. He released his latest game, The Good Life, on various platforms in October 2021.
