Lilas Ikuta performs "Actor" ending song for new season debuting on October 4
On Tuesday, the official website for the anime adaptation of Tatsuya Endo's manga series SPY×FAMILY started streaming the full trailer for its third season. In the video, viewers can see and hear previews of the ending theme song "Actor" by Lilas Ikuta.
Image via Spy x Family anime's website On October 4th at 11:00 PM, TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, TV Kyushu, and BS TV Tokyo will broadcast the anime's premiere. On October 5th, it will continue airing on BS TV Tokyo.
The new season will also have returning cast and staff.
In April 2022, the initial portion of the first season of the anime was released. Crunchyroll broadcasted this portion as it became available, along with an English dub. In October 2022, Japan released the second portion of the first season of the anime. Crunchyroll made this portion available as it was being broadcasted. In October 2023, the second season of the anime was released, consisting of 12 episodes. Once again, Crunchyroll made this series available as it was being broadcasted.
An animated movie called "The SPY×FAMILY" was launched in Japan during December 2023 and became the top-grossing film of the weekend. It was a new project with its own unique storyline. In April 2024, Crunchyroll released the movie in North America. It debuted at #5 on the U.S. box office list.

Shueisha is currently releasing the manga in English through their MANGA Plus service. Viz Media included the manga as part of their Shonen Jump subscription in September 2019, and they also publish it in print format.
Both adaptations of the manga have been staged as musical performances. One of them was presented from March to May 2023, while the second is set for September to December this year.
